Use of this website

The content on this website is provided for general information about our ghostwriting and memoir services. It does not constitute legal, financial, or publishing advice.

Engagements and agreements

No client relationship exists until a written agreement is signed by both parties. Each agreement sets out the scope, deliverables, timeline, milestone payments, and confidentiality terms for that specific project.

Ownership and copyright

On final payment, the client holds full copyright and all rights to the completed manuscript. The studio claims no ownership, royalties, or public credit unless the client explicitly grants it in writing.

Client responsibilities

• Providing accurate accounts of the events described
• Obtaining any permissions required for third-party material
• Reviewing drafts and returning feedback within agreed timeframes

Confidentiality

Confidentiality is the default for every engagement. Where a Non-Disclosure Agreement is executed, its terms take precedence over these general terms.

Payments and cancellation

Projects are billed in milestones. Deposits reserve calendar time and are non-refundable, though completed work is always delivered for the milestones paid. Cancellation terms are specified in each individual agreement.

Book purchases, refunds, and shipping

Purchases of Man-Handled and service deposits are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

• Signed paperbacks ship within five business days of purchase. If your copy arrives damaged, contact us within 14 days with a photo and a replacement will be sent at no cost.
• Ebooks are delivered by email after purchase. Because digital files cannot be returned, ebook sales are final once the download has been delivered.
• Consultation and project deposits reserve calendar time and are credited in full against your project. Deposit refund terms are set out in each written agreement; where no agreement has yet been signed, deposits are refundable within 14 days on request.

To request a refund or report an issue with an order, email us and include your Stripe receipt number.

Limitation of liability

We do not guarantee sales, publication by a third-party publisher, or any specific commercial outcome. Liability is limited to the fees paid for the affected engagement.
